FORETHOUGHT.net to become one of rural Colorado’s top Fiber to the Home Providers

FORETHOUGHT.net, one of Colorado’s leading rural broadband providers, announced today that it constructing fiber to the home networks in 5 communities in rural Colorado.
Four of the five projects are in conjunction with the State of Colorado’s “Colorado Broadband Fund” program for rural broadband development.
“We will be covering the entirety of the cities of Ouray, Cripple Creek, and Norwood with modern and affordable gigabit fiber broadband,” said Jawaid Bazyar, President of FORETHOUGHT.net. “Additionally, we will be building fiber to the home in the communities of Ski Ranches in Telluride, and the Piedmont Apartments being built in Avon, Colorado. Fiber optic cable transmits information as pulses of light, instead of electrical signals on antiquated copper wire. Gigabit means 1000 Megabits – compared to typical ‘phone company’ Internet, Fiber Gigabit service is up to 2,000 times faster, and delivers the same speeds for upload as well as download.
